How to Find Your Size

Step 1
Find a hard flat surface, tape a piece of blank paper, flush against a wall. Place your foot on the paper, with your heel flush against the wall, stand up straight.

Step 2
Have a friend mark the longest part of your foot (referred to as heel-to-toe length) on the paper with a pen or pencil, or measure yourself if necessary. Repeat with the other foot, as right and left sizes may be different.

Step 3
Use a ruler to measure the heel-to-toe length you marked for each foot.

I still love my Malden Street Boot in spite of the absence of grommets in the lace holes. Images on the internet show versions that had them and it did look more like signature Chuck Taylors with it than without. I happened to have extra grommets lying around and were able to put them on myself and it now looks perfect.

Not going to lie, I doubt the synthetic fake leather will hold up very long. They should have just charged more and used real leather. The styling of the boot is on point, the grip is great for a winter boot. But again, I have a few pairs of leather converse. Shame on me for overlooking it this time. They are worth keeping but I would not have purchased if I would have seen them in the store. If you do not care about the synthetic leather they might be for you. I would recommend for the price conscious but definitely give them hard usage in my opinion otherwise the synthetic materials tend to peel with age.

I absolutely love my Maldens. They lasted 3 months before the sole started coming apart at the toe. Very disappointing. 2 pairs did the exact same thing. I emailed Converse about them and they told me to take them back to where I bought them. It was their warranty, not Converse. Who still has their receipt after 3 months of buying shoes?

They seem to fit quite narrow. So going up in size leaves you with shoes that are a decent bit too long.
