FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about Converse Canada products, orders, and more.

Have I purchased fake Converse?

The best way to ensure you get an authentic Converse product is to shop on converse.ca, at a Converse authorized retail store, or with reputable and trusted retailers.

If a price seems too good to be true, it usually is; suspiciously low prices are often a sign of counterfeit merchandise. When in doubt, purchasing through official channels is the safest way to protect your investment.

Why can't I find a color or style that I found before?

Many of our products, especially seasonal colorways, are only available for a limited time; seasonal shades come and go and rarely return in the same tone. Similar styles may be reintroduced down the line, but we can't guarantee a specific color will be restocked. If you see something you love, we recommend picking it up sooner rather than later, since our inventory changes frequently throughout the year.

Replacement shoelaces?

We don't currently sell replacement laces on converse.ca. If you're shopping for laces elsewhere, here's how to find the right length:

Number of eyelets × 3 + 12 = ideal lace length in inches

Count the eyelet holes on one side of your shoe and apply this formula, then match your result to the nearest standard length: 27", 36", 45", or 54".

How do I clean my Converse sneakers?

Do not machine wash or dry your sneakers under any circumstances.

Canvas, leather & synthetic sneakers: Remove excess dirt first, then use a damp cloth and a mix of lukewarm water with a mild soap to gently rub the sneaker in the affected areas.

Suede sneakers: Avoid water on suede. Instead, use a suede brush to remove dirt from the surface.

Drying: Air dry at room temperature only. Stuff shoes with paper to help them keep their shape, replacing the paper periodically as it absorbs moisture, and never expose sneakers to direct heat.

How do I find the right size and fit?

Every product page includes a link to our size charts, and you can also check our full Converse Size Guide, which includes step-by-step instructions for measuring your feet.

When will my size be available again?

We don't follow a fixed restocking schedule for sold-out sizes, but we refill our inventory continuously, giving you quicker access to the shoes and gear you want. While we can't guarantee a specific timeline for when a size will return, checking back regularly is the best way to catch it when it's back in stock.
